Zak³ad Modelowania Procesów Fizykochemicznych

Department of Physico-Chemical Modeling is one of the departments of the Institute of Mathematic and Physics which, in turn, is a part of the Faculty of Technology and Chemical Engineering of the University of Technology and Life Sciences in Bydgoszcz as a whole.

The subject of research carried out by employees of an establishment is the theory of the formation of a model (bio) material - the problem occurring at the intersection of three disciplines: physics, chemistry and biology, and other complex materials emerging in the contemporary material science. This implies an active attempt of employees to participate in solving problems concerning of the systems at different temporal and spatial scales, and taking into account the various intra- and intermolecular interactions, and taking into consideration of the problem of the (multi)structurality in single and multicomponent systems (eg, type of polymer-solvent).
